The Mythical "TOYOL"- in a Bottol.
regarded as a mythical supernatural creature – for real? Hundreds of visitors who thronged the state museum here think so as they scrutinised a figurine kept in a bottle that was on display there. A curious fisherman had found the bottle on Tuesday on the shores of a coastal village, believing that what he saw in it was a toyol. In Malay folklore, a toyol is a goblin-like creature that steals money and commits other mischief or evil at the instruction of its guardian. Not wanting to have anything to do with it,the unidentified fisherman from Kampung Kuala Pahang rushed to nearby Kampung Siong, about a kilometre away, and passed it to a bomoh. The bomoh, in turn, handed it to the state museum. Word of its discovery spread like wildfire and hundreds of people waited at the doorstep of the museum before it opened at 8am, eager for a chance to see the strange item. They came in buses, cars, and bicycles and on foot. Museum director Mohd Farid Abdul Jalal said the large number of people who had come to see the figurine surprised him. He said it looked like a puppet or marionette and was about 20cm tall. The figurine, kept in a wide-mouthed bottle, is cloaked in black and hasred eyes and mouth. “The bottle also contains some sand, a yellow string and slices of onions,” he said. “We believe it was used in some kind of spiritual rite or medication and thrown by someone into the sea several days before the waves washed it ashore.” He said the object would be displayed in the museum until he discusses with his officers on the next course of action.
Mythical 100 Foot Snake Returns to Borneo.
I love legends of Lizards, Godzilla was my favorite Monster movie growing up, the Japanese version without Aaron Burr. Is this photo real or photoshop? I don’t really want to know; I want to believe.Maybe it has returned to eat Bankers and Politicians in America; one can only wish. We could do an extraction of the creature like in King Kong and let it run riot down Park ave; you would probably get the most bang for your buck there, even with the Stimulus Bill. According to legend, the Nabau was a terrifying snake more than 100ft in length and with a dragon’s head and seven nostrils. But now local villagers living along the Baleh river in Borneo believe the mythical creature has returned after this photo of a gigantic snake swimming along the remote waterways has emerged. The picture, taken by a member of a disaster team monitoring flood regions by helicopter, has sparked a huge debate about whether the photos are genuine or merely the work of photo-editing software. Even the respected New Straits Times newspaper in Kuala Lumpur has asked readers to make up their own minds about the photos. Villagers who claim to have seen the snake say they have given it the name of Nabau, after an ancient sea serpent which can transform itself into the shapes of different animals. People who have studied the photograph of the shape taken from the air have dismissed suggestions that it’s a log. As one writer asked: ‘A log can’t be that winding, can it?’ Others have suggested it’s a speedboat, but this has been dismissed because of the twisting wake. The most common accusation is that the photo has simply been manipulated on a computer, while others complain that the river is a different colour to the real Baleh rover which is a murky brown. But villagers who insist the snake exists say that photos of the creature being taken in different parts of the river prove it is swimming about. Earlier this month scientists unearthed the fossil of a killer snake that was longer than a bus, as heavy as a small car and which could swallow an animal the size of a cow. The 45ft long monster – named Titanoboa – was so big that it lived on a diet of crocodiles and giant turtles, squeezing them to death and devouring them whole. Weighing an impressive 1.25 tons, it slithered around the tropical forests of South America 60million years ago, just five million years after the last dinosaurs were wiped out. Partial skeletons of the boa constrictor-like prehistoric killer were found in a Colombian coal mine by an international team of fossil hunters.
Are the photos of Borneo's monster snake real?
Grainy images of a large snake in Borneo's Baleh River have some locals afraid the mythical Nabu snake is back. Is Borneo's 100-foot river snake— reported yesterday by London's Telegraph and captured in photographs (one appears to the left)— real? Like the Loch Ness Monster, countless UFOs and Bigfoot, it's hard to say, says Hany Farid, a computer science professor at Dartmouth University, because it's been captured in such low resolution. "It's as if you took a blood sample," he says, "threw away 99 percent of it and asked me to do a forensic analysis." An expert of digital photography forensics , Farid notes that with so few pixels to analyze, there's much less evidence to weigh in one way or the other. At a high resolution —say, 1,000 by 1,000 pixels—tampering gets tougher. At that level, he says, "It's really hard to do. You've got to get it all just right." The low level of resolution is precisely why viewers should be skeptical. To make a fraudulent photo, he says, one would want to work in high resolution, fake it as cleanly as possible and then compress it and make it a bit blurry. "That's a good way of masking any artifacts that you've left behind," he says. Plus, Farid notes that although the fuzziness of UFO and Nessie photos might add a bit of desirable mystique, in this day and age of high-quality point- and-shoot digital cameras, there really aren't many reasons why anyone's daytime photos should be as blurry as those of the Borneo "snake." In addition to the resolution of the two snake photos, other characteristics of an easy fake pop up as well, he observes. Both images show the snake in a somewhat open area, not interacting with other objects. It would be a lot more difficult, Farid says, to fake a snake wrapped around a person. Although Farid won't opine whether the Borneo photos are real or manipulated, he suggests a handy rule of thumb: "When you look at images, you should think about, 'How hard would this be to do?

Mermaid Sightings Claimed in Israel
The Little Mermaid, a sculpture, sits on a rock in the harbor in Copenhagen,
Denmark. She's about as close to real as any mermaid stories told through
history, evidence suggests. The sculptor Edvard Eriksen created the
statue, unveiled in 1913.
Locals and tourists in the Israeli town of Kiryat Yam have been flocking to the coast in hopes of
glimpsing a creature that most people believe only exist in fairy tales.
An alleged mermaid, said to resemble a cross between a fish and a young girl, only appears at sunset. It
performs a few tricks for onlookers before disappearing for the night.
One of the first people to see the mermaid, Shlomo Cohen, said, "I was with friends when suddenly we saw a woman laying on the sand in a weird way. At first I thought she was just another sunbather, but
when we approached she jumped into the water and disappeared. We were all in shock because we saw
she had a tail." The sightings apparently began several months ago.
$1 million reward The town's tourism board is of course delighted with their newfound fame and local mystery fauna.
Taking a cue from the town of Inverness, Scotland (on the shore of Loch Ness), the Kiryat Yam government has offered a $1 million reward for the first person to photograph the creature. Town
spokesman Natti Zilberman thinks the reward money is well-spent. "I believe if there really is a mermaid
then so many people will come to Kiryat Yam, a lot more money will be made than $1 million.” Of course, if the mermaid does not exist -- perhaps it is a hoax, an optical illusion, or a simple misperception of a known animal -- then the town's reward money will remain safe and unclaimed,
while the economy benefits from the influx of tourists vying to get a photo that will leave them set for
life. It's not clear what people are seeing, though the power of suggestion and imagination can be strong.
Identifying animals in water is inherently problematic, since eyewitnesses by definition are only seeing a
small part of the creature. When you add in the factor of low light at sunset and the distances involved,
positively identifying even a known creature can be very difficult -- to say nothing of a mythological
one! Mermaids have long held fascination for seafaring peoples. There are a few dozen significant historical
claims of actual mermaid sightings. Most of them are clearly myths and legends , such as "true" stories about lovely young women who married sailors but were later discovered to be shape-shifting
mermaids (such as in the film "Splash"). Other reports date back centuries, and offer no proof or evidence other than a curious story. For
example, a Capt. Richard Whitbourne claimed he saw a mermaid in Newfoundland's St. James harbor in
1610. Another story, from 1830 Scotland, claimed that a young boy killed a mermaid by throwing rocks
at it; the creature looked like a child of about 3 or 4, but had a salmon's tail instead of legs. The villagers
supposedly had it a funeral and buried it in a small coffin. P.T. Barnum's mermaid Hoaxers have worked to satisfy the public's appetite for mermaids; the fact that none have ever actually
been found is only a minor inconvenience. The great showman P.T. Barnum introduced a mermaid to astounded crowd in the 1840s: his infamous
"FeeJee Mermaid", actually a taxidermy fake. The head and torso of a small monkey was grafted onto
the body and tail of a fish. It was bizarre and strange - --certainly nothing anyone had seen before — but
a far cry from the banners and posters suggesting a beautiful, half-naked woman. Other mermaid fakes appeared throughout the centuries. Some were manatees that had been dressed up
to resemble a human form and exhibited for profit. Whether the Israeli mermaid sighting is genuine, a hoax, or an innocent mistake exploited for tourism,
the reality of finding a real mermaid might be different than people imagine, as shown by a song from
the Newfoundland band Great Big Sea, which sings folk-rock versions of traditional sea shanties. One of
their most popular songs, titled "The Mermaid," tells of a lonely sailor who courts a mermaid: "I love the girl with all me heart / But I only like the upper part / I do not like the tail!"

Weird Creature Found in ThaiLand.
This creature , was found on Thailand, its
strangely shaped body leaves
a lot of mastery around it .
The photographer has
captured with his camera a
truly unique and amazing moment, and got himself a
fantastic photographs that
make up a great story. As all good mysteries it
happens in far away from the
technology wonders of the
modern society in Thailand.
You can see a lot of local folks
in the background of these photos that seem to worship
this creature they have
“found”. The end result is an
even more absurd and even
humorous scene. They
managed to get me even more amazed by this baby
powder and juices they
brought as a tribute to this
creature. They have even
brought a fan to keep it well
preserved for the scientists.
Lets turn to the main subject, or should I say object, of this photo series the fantastically colored and shaped body of the creature. There has been a lot of debates about what this creature might be and that is exactly the beauty of mystery, the inability to solve
it. It might be some kind of strange animal, it even looks like a mythical creature. Honestly I don’t know what to think about this event. These photographs do raise more questions than answers…

New Leafy Sea DRAGON foundNew Leafy Sea DRAGON found
Named after the dragons
of Chinese mythology,
Leafy seadragons
(Phycodurus eques)
resemble a piece of drifting
seaweed as they float in the seaweed-filled water.
The Leafy seadragon, with
green, orange and gold
hues along its body, is
covered with leaf-like
appendages, making it remarkably camouflaged.
Only the fluttering of tiny
fins or the moving of an
independently swiveling
eye, reveals its presence. Like the seahorse, the male
seadragon carries as many
as 150-200 eggs. After
being deposited by the
female, the eggs are carried
in the honeycomb-shaped area (known as the brood
patch) under the male's tail
for approximately eight
weeks. Seadragons have
no teeth or stomach and
feed exclusively on mysidopsis shrimp. Known
as "Australian seahorses"
in Australia, they are found
in calm, cold water that is
approximately 50-54° F
(10-12° C). Leafy seadragons have been
protected by the South
Australian government
since 1982.

Tewin Bury Farm Ghost Child.
This astonishing photo was
taken by photographer Neil
Sandbach in 2006. He was
taking some pictures at Tewin
Bury farm in Hertfordshire,
England, for friends of his who were planning to get
married there. When looking
at the photograph on his
computer later, he found an
ethereal and ghostly childish
figure standing in the corner of the barn. Neil does not
recall anyone, child or adult,
being in the vicinity at the
time. The friends he took the
pictures for later asked the
staff at the farm if there had ever been any paranormal
activity, without saying a
word about Neil’s picture. The
staff said a young boy had
been seen around the area of
the barn a number of times, dressed in white night clothes.
A very compelling photo and

Horse Mutilation in Denver Found to be Caused by UFO and Aliens.
Cattle Mutilation has been an issue that aliens have long been suspected of being the culprit of. Many times in these mutilations the genitals and other parts of the cow are missing and many times the blood has been completely drained. Well Colorado is a big state with lots of cattle and mutilations are nothing new there.
In November, the Schneider family in El Paso County, Colorado found two of their horses dead and badly mutilated on their ranch. The horses were found with the genitals, tongues, and eyes of the horses removed as well as the chest and throats opened up. Also there were no foot prints as well as no blood found around the animal which sparked the owners to call in a paranormal investigator.
The investigator brought in was Chuck Zukowski who determined that aliens were to blame because of the lack of foot prints and the fact that there was no blood what so ever. Also animals wouldn't have done such a job and probably would have eaten the horse instead of leaving it there.
The local sherrif didn't agree with the idea that aliens were to blame for the mutilations and said that he thought an animal or people were to blame even though it wasn't consistant with an animal attack.

China UFO Sighting Caught on Video July 2010.China UFO Sighting Caught on Video July 2010.
BEIJING, July 8 (Xinhaunet) -- The unidentified flying object that disrupted air traffic in Hangzhou for an hour on Wednesday remains, well, unidentified.
"No conclusion has yet been drawn," Wang Jian, head of air traffic control with the Zhejiang branch of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), was quoted by Xinhua News Agency as saying.
Some media have speculated the UFO might be a private aircraft, based on the increasing number of privately-owned aircraft in Zhejiang province. But Wang said the possibility it was a private plane was "just a guess."
A source with knowledge of the matter, however, told China Daily earlier that the object had a military connection.
A staff member at Xiaoshan Airport in Hangzhou said a twinkling object was first spotted over the city's sky around 8:30 pm on Wednesday. However, the object did not show up on the airport's radar.
Xiaoshan Airport was then closed at 8:45 pm over security concerns, and only resumed operation at 9:41 pm.
A dozen inbound flights were diverted to nearby airports and six outbound flights were delayed for three to four hours.
According to an estimate by Shanghai-based Evening News, more than 2,000 passengers were affected. It was the first time an airport in China has been shut down on such short notice due to a UFO, said a staff member with the CAAC of East China, who declined to be named.
"We should first find out how the owner got the approval to fly the object," said the staff member, adding "even a fire balloon needs to get the authority's permission before lifting off." The twinkling object could have been a light below the horizon reflecting on an airplane flying very high, given good visibility in the sky, said Zhu Dayi, who works at the Shanghai Observatory, adding such phenomena usually happen around an hour after sunset.
"If the speed of the twinkling object is extremely high, it could be a military aircraft," he said, "But no conclusion can be drawn now, as the information is limited."
According to airport staff, it is still not clear which authorities should be held responsible for dereliction of duty - if there were any. The CAAC of East China and the airport divide their areas of responsibilities according to the craft's altitude. As to who should pay for losses to the airline companies whose flights were diverted, an industry insider said those costs should be borne by the owner of the unidentified object.

Stephen Hawking's Worry.
One of the smartest men on Earth astrophysicist Stephen Hawking has spoke out against trying to communicate with aliens. He's worried that they might not be as friendly as we hoped and could pose a potential threat to humanity's existence.
As when any advanced society encounters a less advanced society, the less advanced is almost always wiped out, even if unintentionally. Hawking said it is likely that alien life exists, but a visit from extraterrestrials might be similar to Christopher Columbus' arrival in the Americas.
"If aliens visit us, the outcome would be much as when Columbus landed in America, which didn't turn out well for the Native Americans," he said. "We only have to look at ourselves to see how intelligent life might develop into something we wouldn't want to meet."
With the sheer numbers of planets in the universe and space, he mentioned that it's almost impossible for us to be the only planet with intelligent life.
Hawkings also thinks they may use huge ships that the aliens live on after using up the resources on their own planets and may be looking for a new home. Hawking who is very respected in his field released this information to a new Discovery channel documentary.

Baltic Sea UFO: Mysterious UFO Like Object Spotted On Sea Floor Near Sweden
An ocean salvage exploration company found an object on the floor of the Baltic Sea that looks an awful lot like a UFO. The sonar images are vague at best, but the object still bears an uncanny resemblance to the outline of the Millennium Falcon. Has George Lucas been spotted anywhere in the vicinity?
The images come courtesy of the Ocean Explorer team, an experienced group of Swedish salvagers that already raised an impressive collection of rare and very expensive champagne from the watery depths.
Expedition leader Peter Lindberg notes that the mystery object is 60 meters across. Lines in the ocean floor next to it almost look like a skidded landing area. Chances are that the discovery has a much less titillating explanation than coming from another planet. It could be a sunken vessel or a flooded archeological site. There will be no answers until the team goes in for a closer look.
Originally, Ocean Explorer wasn't planning to check into the object any further due to the the expense of underwater exploration. With so much excitement and donations coming in, the team is planning to revisit the area
In the meantime, UFO fans can let their heart rates rise and entertain sweet dreams about visitations from beyond our solar system.

Shocked Mother Rejects “Alien” Baby
Sonal Waghela from Gujarat, India refuses to feed, look at, or even name to her newborn son because he kind of looks like an alien.
Pictured above is a nameless child with a gargantuan, alien- like head that weighs 2.15kg (4.74lbs). According to Dr. Hiren Thumer, the little bundle of oversized joy has an accumulation of water in his head.
“The head swells like a balloon because of water accumulation inside the brain, and hence the baby looks abnormal,” Hiren said. “Generally, these types of births occur in one in a hundred thousand deliveries.”
The boy unfortunately is at great risk of death, especially within the first six months. Hiren explained that this can be avoided with brain surgery. The problem is that the baby’s own family rejects him.
When Sonal first laid eyes on him, her body went limp and she fainted in shock. She now refuses to name him, look at him, speak to him, or even nurse him. At the moment, he is being spoon-fed another woman’s breast milk because Sonal refuses to allow him within a foot of her.
It’s a very sad, unfortunate, and rather odd occurrence that hopefully will inspire some soul out there to intervene. Though this “mother” thinks her son isn’t good enough for her, the truth is that she isn’t good enough for him!

Hairless Monkey Mistaken For Alien
When Mao Xiping in China first espied the strange, hairless creature eating cucumbers in her garden in Gezhai village, she at first thought it was a rabbit.
“At first I thought it was a rabbit, then I was shocked to see it had an alien face,” said Mao. After a diet of cucumbers, Mao tried peaches and now the starving animal won’t eat anything else. But the poor critter was neither a rabbit nor one of ET’s lost relatives seeking a way to “phone home.” Handed over to scientists, it was at first thought to be a malnourished hairless monkey . But the world of nature is full of surprises and the animal was soon determined to be neither an alien nor a monkey, but rather an emaciated Loris.
This suborder of primates is similar to but different from the monkey family.
The Loris is nocturnal, shy and quiet, and commonly found in India and China. The hairless creature was like nothing Mao or any of her neighbors had ever seen before and to them, it really was an alien life form.
Locals were at first frightened by the creature’s appearance as its lack of hair and visible skeletal frame gave it a weird unearthly appearance.
What does this say about human reactions to things that look different? How far have we really come as an evolved species? Keep feeding the poor, hungry Loris, but this question and its answer too is food for thought, no? Check out this sweet video of a tame, adorable Loris being tickled by its loving owners.
