Strange Mermaid like Creature from Azov

Village residents from the Rostov region of Russia caught a weird creature two weeks ago after a strong storm in the Sea of Azov. The shark- looking creature was producing strange squeaky sounds. The fishermen originally believed that they had caught an alien and decided to film the monster with the help of a cell phone camera. The footage clearly shows the creatures' head, body and long tail. The bizarre catch was weighing almost 100 kilograms, the Komsomolskaya Pravda reports.However, ufologists and scientists were greatly disappointed when they found out that the fishermen had eaten the monster. They said that they were not scared of the creature so they decided to use it as food. One of the men said that it was the most delicious dish he had ever eaten. Chairman of the Anomalous Phenomena Service, Andrei Gorodovoi, stated that the creature, which he could see on the short video, was an anomalous being. However, it could hardly be described as an extraterrestrial form of life, he added. Gorodovoi rejected the version about mermaids too. "There are many legends about mermaids living in the Sea of Azov. Nevertheless, specialists of the Service for Anomalous Phenomena have never confirmed those fairytales. On the other hand, we do not deny the possibility of other forms of life in the Sea of Azov," the ufologist sad. A spokesman for the Rostov- based zoo, Alexander Lipkovich, contacted local ichthyologists and asked their opinion about the Azov alien. "They said that the fish bears resemblance to a sturgeon. It was an extremely interesting individual. I have never seen anything like this before in my whole life," the specialist said.

crash; in fact he wasn't on the plane in the first place. It is
also said that he lived in
disguise in India for many
years after that. The rumours
of conspiracy theory also do
the rounds but there hasn't been any concrete answer to
it and even today his death
remains a disputed topic.

Huge Lake in Chile Disappears Overnight.

In May 2007, a huge lake in Chile literally disappeared overnight. The only things left behind was a giant, 30 meter deep pit, icebergs, and dry soil!

All of the water and its contents were gone. Despite the fact this strange incident took place more than two years ago, word is just now getting out about it. As word is finally starting to spread across the internet, UFO enthusiasts and paranomalists are putting forth theories as to how something like this could have happened.

This wasn’t a small lake or pond, either---it was approximately five miles long! Located in Patagonia, Chile, the last time geologists saw it was in March 2007 and nothing appeared strange or different about it at all.
What could have happened within just two short months? How could a giant lake disappear out of nowhere? In addition to the lake simply vanishing, a river that flowed from the lake was reduced to a very small stream.

When this story first broke, many people thought it was just a hoax, and indeed it does seem too bizarre to be true. It is true, however, despite how baffling it is. Apparently the icebergs were still left behind---intact, despite the fact that the water was gone. Geologists also report huge cracks at the bottom of the pit. Did the water somehow drain through the cracks? Was there some sort of earthquake? Why then were the icebergs fine?

One glacier specialist, Andres Rivera, explained to a Chilean newspaper that the lake itself did not even exist three decades ago. So, is it possible that the landscape in that part of the world is reformingitself? Geologists and glacier specialists are currently doing tests to see what they can find out about the bizarre landscape in that area.

While some are holding out to see if there could be any scientific explanation about what happened, some media reports are trying to claim that the water was actually drained by UFO’s! Is this just media sensationalism, or something more? Whether there is a scientific explanation for what happened or paranormal, only time will tell.

This isn’t the first time a lake disappeared out of nowhere. There have been a few instances in the past where an earthquake caused water to drain. The only problem with this theory in this case in point is that there had been no reports of any earthquakes in that particular area in spring of 2007.

The Mystery of Easter Island

Some believe that people from somewhere else arrived at the island and constructed the shines and statues, but some feel that they were the work of disturbed minds, elephants or extra-terrestrials were responsible. Then there are the Rongorongo tablets that can be deciphered in many ways depending on who is doing the deciphering.

Who made the statues that stand on Easter Island and how did they get to this remote island to make the pieces of art that attract attention from all over the world. A Dutch captain discovered the statues in 1722 on Easter Day. The statues weigh tons and reach 30 feet tall. How could people with no means to heavy lifting equipment carve these statues? How could elephants have helped build these statues when no signs of elephant remains are found on the 10-mile wide by 15 mile long island.
Although no one knows the right answer, some have speculated that the only way for these statues to be constructed was from above by extra-terrestrials. They would have the means to use laser beams to carve the rock into statues. However, some feel that the Polynesians traveled by canoes to the island and built the statues. It is said that they were stuck there and couldn't leave so the long ear people became the rulers and the other short- eared people were the workers that created the statues. Therefore, most of the statues have long ears and only a few display short ears.

The statues appeared to be carved out of the side wall of the volcano and then rolled to the bottom of the volcano where they were hoisted upright by the estimated 11,000 islanders. Then it is said that after depleting the islands resources to survive, they resulted to cannibalism.

Putting elephants and Polynesians aside, there is another form of life that could have preformed the task from above and not needed any pulleys or carving tools. The long ears could be a characteristic of the form of life from space that we know nothing about. They could have used Easter Island as a way to develop their skills with laser beams. They could have constructed the statues elsewhere and placed them on earth as a way of declaring the earth their new takeover.

It may not be possible to ever discover the truth about Easter Island. Mystery and speculation is what we have now, which varies so much and sometimes does not even may sense. However, one does not know for sure who the statues are supposed to represent. Once someone determines who the statue resembles, then maybe someone can say for sure who is responsible for the mystery of Easter Island.

Until then, it no one will ever know for sure if it was aliens from outer space that are responsible and the only ones that could have the resources to make such large and heavy statues of this type.

Real GORGON found in Malaysia.

It’s over 5,000 miles from Greece but residents from Pahang in Malaysia claim to have found a Gorgon, like the famed Medusa.

The strange creature, which has the body of a snake and the head of a human, was reportedly captured by Malaysian aborigines. The story goes that the men spotted two of the beasts, one male and one female, but only managed to catch the female. Witnesses claimed that the creature initially begged to be released back into the mountains, others say it was trying to summon the male monster to come and rescue it.

In Greek mythology Gorgons are hideous women often portrayed with live snakes for hair and a serpent’s body, one look into the eyes of a Gorgon is supposed to turn you to stone. The specimen on display in Pahang appears to be the coiled up body of a python with a human head and little skinny arms, news of the bizarre animal quickly circulated and people began paying good money to view the beast, which sadly turned out to be dead, the so called ‘snake monster’ has not been verified.

The Mythical "TOYOL"- in a Bottol.

regarded as a mythical supernatural creature – for real? Hundreds of visitors who thronged the state museum here think so as they scrutinised a figurine kept in a bottle that was on display there. A curious fisherman had found the bottle on Tuesday on the shores of a coastal village, believing that what he saw in it was a toyol. In Malay folklore, a toyol is a goblin-like creature that steals money and commits other mischief or evil at the instruction of its guardian.Not wanting to have anything to do with it,the unidentified fisherman from Kampung Kuala Pahang rushed to nearby Kampung Siong, about a kilometre away, and passed it to a bomoh. The bomoh, in turn, handed it to the state museum. Word of its discovery spread like wildfire and hundreds of people waited at the doorstep of the museum before it opened at 8am, eager for a chance to see the strange item. They came in buses, cars, and bicycles and on foot. Museum director Mohd Farid Abdul Jalal said the large number of people who had come to see the figurine surprised him. He said it looked like a puppet or marionette and was about 20cm tall. The figurine, kept in a wide-mouthed bottle, is cloaked in black and hasred eyes and mouth. “The bottle also contains some sand, a yellow string and slices of onions,” he said. “We believe it was used in some kind of spiritual rite or medication and thrown by someone into the sea several days before the waves washed it ashore.” He said the object would be displayed in the museum until he discusses with his officers on the next course of action.

Mythical 100 Foot Snake Returns to Borneo.

According to legend, the Nabau was a terrifying snake more than 100ft in length and with a dragon’s head and seven nostrils. But now local villagers living along the Baleh river in Borneo believe the mythical creature has returned after this photo of a gigantic snake swimming along the remote waterways has emerged. The picture, taken by a member of a disaster team monitoring flood regions by helicopter, has sparked a huge debate about whether the photos are genuine or merely the work of photo-editing software. Even the respected New Straits Times newspaper in Kuala Lumpur has asked readers to make up their own minds about the photos. Villagers who claim to have seen the snake say they have given it the name of Nabau, after an ancient sea serpent which can transform itself into the shapes of different animals. People who have studied the photograph of the shape taken from the air have dismissed suggestions that it’s a log. As one writer asked: ‘A log can’t be that winding, can it?’ Others have suggested it’s a speedboat, but this has been dismissed because of the twisting wake. The most common accusation is that the photo has simply been manipulated on a computer, while others complain that the river is a different colour to the real Baleh rover which is a murky brown. But villagers who insist the snake exists say that photos of the creature being taken in different parts of the river prove it is swimming about. Earlier this month scientists unearthed the fossil of a killer snake that was longer than a bus, as heavy as a small car and which could swallow an animal the size of a cow. The 45ft long monster – named Titanoboa – was so big that it lived on a diet of crocodiles and giant turtles, squeezing them to death and devouring them whole. Weighing an impressive 1.25 tons, it slithered around the tropical forests of South America 60million years ago, just five million years after the last dinosaurs were wiped out. Partial skeletons of the boa constrictor-like prehistoric killer were found in a Colombian coal mine by an international team of fossil hunters.
